South End Real Estate
Just South of Boston’s Back Bay lies the historic South End. A neighborhood composed of mid-nineteenth century bow front, five-story brick buildings which are used for both commercial and residential purposes. In the 1980’s the South End was listed on the National Historic Register and has been preserved by the Historical Society and Landmark’s Commission since which has help maintain the neighborhood’s character and charm. From brick sidewalks to fountain parks the South End’s distinct blocks continue to draw new residents and visitors year over year. The past few decades have provided countless exquisite dining establishments, bars and shopping in the area that have been a continuous destination for both residents and those from nearby locations.
